Full louvered arches on custom plantation shutters are the most beautiful way to design an arch with acheiving the consistency of a regular shutter. There are solutions to any type of odd-shaped windows. Louvers are set in a horizontal position and run from top to bottom of opening. A full arch allows more control of light flow as opposed to the fan top. Please note there are always some louvers at the top that will remain fixed/closed. |
With blind arches you can reduce the glare from the sun and still get some light filtering through. These are the perfect alternative if you do not want your room completely darkened. It's an affordable, beautiful look made custom to fit your window. Only drawback is that you can not control the opening and closing of each individual louver.
